The date is set for Loretta Lynn‘s make-up concert after she was forced to postpone Sunday night’s performance at the Durham Performing Arts Center.

Lynn will perform at the DPAC Jan. 8, 2012, after having to reschedule her performance Oct. 23 due to illness.

The 76-year-old country music legend was admitted to a Kentucky hospital early on Saturday after awakening on her tour bus complaining of difficulty breathing.

“Around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Loretta awoke on her tour bus complaining that she was having a hard time breathing,” her rep said.

Doctors said Lynn was suffering from the beginning stages of Bacterial Pneumonia, which forced her to cancel her shows in Ashland, Ky. and Durham.

Her website announced Monday that Lynn had been released from the hospital and is now back at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. She is expected to return to the stage Nov. 3 in Knoxville, Tenn.

“It was one scary night, but I am feeling better and just gonna take it easy for a couple of weeks,” Lynn said.

In August Lynn underwent knee replacement surgery, forcing her to cancel several performances in September. Before that, she returned to live performances with a show at the Grand Ole Opry after being forced to cancel shows in Ohio and Connecticut because she was hospitalized for heat exhaustion.

Tickets to the original show date will be honored for her rescheduled performance at DPAC.
