The N.C. State Fair‘s Saturday night concert will likely see a new headliner after the previously scheduled Easton Corbin called off a handful of shows, citing vocal problems.
“We regret that Easton Corbin is unable to perform on Saturday night, and we hope he recovers quickly,” State Fair Manager Wesley Wyatt said in a statement.
The “A Little More Country Than That” singer was set to headline Dorton Arena Saturday night. Fairgoers who purchased concert tickets through Etix will receive automatic refunds.
State Fair organizers say Corbin’s performance will not be rescheduled, though the fair is working to find a replacement act for Dorton Arena on Saturday.
Craig Campell is set to kick-off the Fair’s nightly Dorton concerts on Thursday, followed by Skillet on Friday.
The events continue Sunday with Tift Merritt, followed by Steel Magnolia on Monday, George Jones on Tuesday, David Nail on Wednesday, Dionne Warwick on Thursday, Newsboys on Friday, Kansas on Saturday and Kellie Pickler on Sunday.
