Wilco has a new album on its way, and the Grammy Award-winning rock band will celebrate its release at the Raleigh Amphitheater.
The band’s eighth full-length album, The Whole Love, will hit streets September 27, and lucky for Raleighites, Wilco will perform at the Downtown shed the same night. Nick Lowe is set to open for Wilco through the entirety of the band’s tour.
While ticket information is not yet available — based on the band’s speedy sell-out at DPAC — they should be picked up as soon as they go on sale.

The Whole Love will be the band’s first to be released on its dBpm Records label. The album’s release is preceded by the single “I Might,” which includes a cover the the Nick Lowe-penned track “I Love My Label” on the flip.
Wilco took the stage at the Durham Performing Arts Center in March 2010 in support of 2009′s Wilco (The Album).
