It looks like Okkervil River is stepping up to larger venues when the band wraps its summer tour back through the Triangle in September.

The Austin-based indie rock band recently played a capacity show at Cat’s Cradle, when they were joined by Titus Andronicus and Future Islands.

Now the band will bring that same tour back to the Triangle, this time stepping up to the 800-capacity Lincoln Theatre on September 13. Ticket information is not yet available, though information should be announced soon.

Okkervil River released its sixth studio album, I Am Very Far, May 10 through JagJaguwar records. The band will also drop a 7-inch August 2, featuring “Your Past Life As A Blast” on the A-side and the non-album track “Gold Faces” on the flip.
