Ambient, dream-pop mastermind M83 has a new, double LP on its way, and in support, the French group will tour North America through the fall.

Kicking off October 15 in New Mexico, the tour will make its way to Raleigh when M83 takes the stage at what-is-sure-to-be a very packed Kings Barcade October 29. Tickets go on sale July 12 for $15 in advance or $18 the day of the show. Tickets can also be picked up right now through the M83 website.

Seriously though, these tickets will sell quickly. Get them as soon as possible.

M83 main man Anthony Gonzalez told Spin in June that his as-yet-untitled double album should hit the streets in October — right on time for the aforementioned tour. Gonzalez also said the album is “mainly about dreams, how everyone is different, how you dream differently when you’re a kid, a teenager, or an adult.”

He continued, “[A]ll the songs need to be different and I think I’ve done that with this one. Overall, it’s pop — and very epic.”

After Raleigh, M83 will head up to Asheville for the very awesome Moogfest, where the group joins The Flaming Lips, Moby, Passion Pit, Tangerine Dream, Amon Tobin, Toro y Moi, Battles, and many more.
