The Rosebuds premiere eerie music video for ‘Woods’

No joke, I have listened to the new The Rosebuds album, Loud Planes Fly Low, every day since its stream debuted over on Spin‘s website. It is absolutely gorgeous and heartbreaking all at once.

If you haven’t had a chance to hear it yet, I encourage you to check it out. Regardless, one of the stand out tracks — and its tough to stand out in the bunch — is “Woods,” described by Pitchfork as “a stormy earworm.”

The band debuted its Steve Choo-directed music video for the track, and it’s a gorgeous and sort of eerie illustration of the song’s dark, resonating lyrics.

The Rosebuds will return to Raleigh July 29 when they open for Bon Iver at Raleigh Amphitheater.

Loud Planes Fly Low was released June 7 through Merge Records.
