This month’s Local Band-Local Beer schedule is turning out quite nice. This week we can look forward to Organos along with North Elementary; while next week brings us Minor Stars, Goodbye, Titan and Monsonia.

On April 21, Hopscotch, Vitaminwater, WKNC and Revolver Consignment are teaming up to bring The Rosebuds to Tir Na Nog for Local Beer Local Fashion.

Joining the ‘Buds will be DJ SPCL GST and Heads on Sticks. There will also be a fashion show hosted by Revolver Consignment.

Like all Local Band-Local Beer events, the show will be free and is limited to those 21 years and older.

You may recall, The Rosebuds played LBLB back in May 2010, and the show was absolutely packed. So my suggestion is to get there pretty early.

In addition to the LBLB announcement, Hopscotch organizer Greg Lowenhagen said the ‘Buds will be exempt from the big Hopscotch announcement on April 20 “because we have a special announcement about their festival show coming later this summer.”

The Rosebuds are set to release their new record, Loud Planes Fly Low, June 7 through Merge Records.
