How’s this for last minute? The Love Language — fresh from their nationwide tour with Telekinesis — will make a quick pitstop in Carrboro for a surprise full-band show.
Frontman Stuart McLamb said the band will play a set Saturday at Jessee’s Coffee & Bar in Carrboro at 12:30 p.m. – as in, an afternoon gig.
The show is part of the Carrboro Gets the HINT festival, a two-day music festival benefiting the Future of Music Coalition’s Health Insurance Navigation Tool. Donations will be accepted at the door.
The Love Language has a show in Augusta, Georgia the same night, so my guess is they’ll be hoofing it south after rocking Jessee’s.
If you miss them in Carrboro, don’t forget that the band has a four-night residency at Slim’s coming up May 3-6.
