Well it’s official. The rumors have swirled for several weeks, I’ve sat quietly on my hands, now we can safely say that Mumford & Sons will perform at the Raleigh Amphitheater in June.

Joined by The Low Anthem and Matthew & The Atlas, the Grammy Award-nominated folk rock quartet will take the stage at Downtown Raleigh’s outdoor venue on June 8. Tickets for the show go on sale for between $27 and $32 this Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m.

Mumford & Sons scored a Grammy nom in the category “Best New Artist.” The golden gramophone ultimately went to the very deserving Esperanza Spalding, despite the category being stacked in favor of Justin “Biebs” Bieber.

The band’s song “Little Lion Man” was also nominated in the category “Best Rock Song.”

While being honored with the Grammy noms, Mumford & Sons also had the opportunity to jam alongside North Carolina’s own The Avett Brothers and the legendary Bob Dylan. In addition to playing the role of The Band on Dylan’s “Maggie’s Farm,” Mumford & Sons also performed their song “The Cave” from 2009′s Sigh No More.
