Phish Returning To Walnut Creek

For the second year in a row, Phish will perform at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek.

Tickets for the June 18 show will go on sale on Friday, March 11 at 10 a.m. But a limited number of tickets are being offered by the band now for between $45 and $60.

Included in the ticket price for each date is a free MP3 download of the entire show redeemable at LivePhish.com.

Phish’s 2011 Summer Tour kicks-off Memorial Day weekend with the band playing three consecutive nights at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, N.Y. The band will also perform in Charlotte at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre on June 17.

In August 2008, Phish released a DVD documenting its July 22, 1997 concert at Walnut Creek. During the show, lightning struck the stage three different times, forcing the band to take a one hour intermission before returning for an additional 90-minute set.
