Def Leppard will be joined by Heart June 24 at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek. The two legendary rock bands are also set to perform in Charlotte June 22 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.
Tickets for the Live Nation-produced tour will go on sale on March 4.
“Nancy and I are really excited to be bringing Heart to the stage this summer with Def Leppard. It’s going to be a powerful, monster show. The real thing,” Heart singer Ann Wilson said. “The summer of 2011 will be amazing.”
Def Leppard last performed at the shed Aug. 7, 2009 with Poison and Cheap Trick. Heart more recently performed in the area, playing Raleigh Amphitheater’s inaugural season on Aug. 14, 2010.
