The War On Drugs will join Dan Bejar’s Destroyer for what is sure to be a remarkable show at Cat’s Cradle on April 7.

The War On Drugs, who performed a rare small-club show at Tir Na Nog during the inaugural Hopscotch Music Festival, is touring behind the release of the Future Weather 12-inch.

Destroyer, meanwhile, will drop Kaputt, Jan. 25 through Merge Records. The album is the full-length follow-up to 2008′s Trouble in Dreams. Bejar also released two 12-inch EP’s in 2009 (Bay of Pigs) and 2010 (Archer on the Beach).

Tickets for the April 7 concert go on sale Jan. 17 for $13 in advance, or they will be available for $15 the day of the show.

According to Merge, Bejar is planning “an 8-piece Destroyer orchestra,” which will hit the road in March; however there is no official word as to whether the Cat’s Cradle stop is part of that tour.
