A couple bits of Superchunk-related news …

Veelee will open for the legendary indie rock foursome on March 4 at Cat’s Cradle. Tickets for that show went on sale this past Friday (Jan. 7) through Etix.

And, Superchunk frontman Mac McCaughan will open for Ted Leo on Feb. 5 at Local 506. Tickets are available — also through Etix — for $10 in advance or $12 the day of the show.

UPDATE: The Ted Leo concert has been rescheduled for May 12.

Veelee released its debut full-length, The Future Sight, Oct. 16 on 12-inch green vinyl through Chapel Hill-based Grip Tapes.
