A little more than six months ago, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart took the stage at the Cat’s Cradle behind the release of 2009′s Higher Than The Stars EP and the band’s eponymous debut.

Now, with the band’s eagerly awaited follow-up on the horizon, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart will return on April 2 as they hit the road with Twin Shadow.

Tickets for the show will be available soon through Etix for $12 in advance or $14 the day of the show.

The Pains of Being Pure At Heart will release Belong in March. The album’s release was preceded by the 7-inch single “Heart In Your Heartbreak,” which dropped Dec. 14 with the single on the A-side and “The One” on the flip.

The NYC-based new-wave revivalists Twin Shadow released its debut, Forget, in September 2010; and since its release, the band has garnered attention from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and Daytrotter.
