Moving Island Announces Buoyancy Benefit Schedule

Last week we brought you the news of a benefit show featuring performances from Lonnie Walker, Schooner, Veelee and many, many more.

The Buoyancy Benefit, which benefits the soon-to-launch Raleigh-based non-profit Moving Island, is Jan. 28 and 29, and will be hosted at its 804 West Street location.

Now that were a little more than a week away, here is the schedule of performance you can expect each day.

The Big Picture 7:30 p.m. Young Volcanoes 2 p.m.
Organos 8:15 p.m. Mac McCaughan (Superchunk) 3 p.m.
Wowser Bowser 9 p.m. Old Bricks 4 p.m.
Gray Young 10 p.m. Phil Cook & His Feat 5 p.m.
Veelee 11 p.m. Schooner 6 p.m.
Lonnie Walker 12 a.m. Kid Future 9:15 p.m.
NAPS 10 p.m.
Juan Huevos 10:45 p.m.
Heads on Sticks 11:30 p.m.
Motor Skills 12:15 a.m.
Denmark Records DJs 1 a.m.

Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets for $8 for each day in advance ($10 per day the day of) or $15 for both days in advance. Tickets will also be available through Schoolkids Records, CD Alley and Bull City Records.
