Things have been shaky the past few weeks in regard to Local Band Local Beer. After WKNC‘s Mike Alston moved to Cali and Chris Tamplin moved to Motorco in Durham, Mikey Perros took over booking; but that fell through when Perros turned to booking for Kings.
While we’re not quite on solid ground yet, we do know that the show must go on.
So kicking off the new year will be the always fabulous The T’s as well as Sessions at Studio B power pop alums Antibubbles.
As always, Local Band Local Beer is Tir Na Nog‘s weekly free, 21-and-up local music showcase co-presented by WKNC.
And what’s in store for the rest of January? We’ll let you know once we receive word from the powers that be.
