Katy Perry Announces ‘California Dreams’ Tour, Coming To RBC Center

Six-time Grammy Award nominee Katy Perry announced her 41-date California Dreams tour will pass through Raleigh in June.

The pop princess and Mrs. Russell Brand will perform at the RBC Center June 14. Pre-sale tickets for the tour dates will be available Jan. 21, while general sales begin Jan. 29 at noon.

Tapped to open for Perry on the North American leg of the tour are Swedish pop singer Robyn and Welsh singer-songwriter Marina & the Diamonds.

Perry’s 2010 album Teenage Dream is up for two Grammys this year, one for album of the year and another for best pop vocal album. Her singles “Teenage Dream” and “California Gurls” are also up for the golden gramophone.
