Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter James Taylor will return to the Carolinas with a show in Raleigh this spring.
Taylor, who moved to Carrboro with his family at a young age and attended Chapel Hill High School, will perform at Raleigh’s Memorial Auditorium March 26.
Tickets for the concert go on sale Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. through all Ticketmaster outlets for between $77.40 and $98.
Joining Taylor will be his son with singer Carly Simon, Ben Taylor.
James Taylor’s latest release was a live album with Carole King, which celebrated The Troubadour’s 50th anniversary. He is probably best known for his song “Carolina in My Mind,” which he recorded in 1968 at London’s Trident Studios with Paul McCartney on bass and an uncredited George Harrison on backing vocals.
