For three days this month, Kings will be inundated with holiday spectaculars.

Among them is a kitschy Christmas show hosted by New Raleigh, a benefit for the Autism Society of North Carolina hosted by Grayson Currin and Brad Cook, and finally a vaudeville affair from the organizers of the annual Cherry Bounce festival.

The events begin Dec. 16 with New Raleigh’s Kitschmas party featuring magician Michael Casey, The Proclivities‘ Matt Douglas, Kid Future‘s Bryan Costello, Peter Lamb & The Wolves and The Beast. Tickets are available for $7 in advance.

The following night, Indy Week’s Grayson Currin and Megafaun‘s Bad Cook will host Brome for the Holidays with John Darnielle (The Mountain Goats), Veelee, Phil Cook and His Feet, and “other special guests.” Tickets are $10 and proceeds benefit the Autism Society of North Carolina.

And finally, the folks with Cherry Bounce will host “Viva Vaudeville” Dec. 18 with a lineup that includes professional wrestling, burlesque dancers and Vaudeville-era tunes. Tickets are $7 and a portion of the proceeds will go towards the Cherry Bounce Fest.

“Cherry Bounce is and always will be about new and exciting ways to throw the most mind-expanding party imaginable,” Greg Behr and Billy Warden, Cherry Bounce’s creators and producers, said in a statement. “Our credo has been, ‘Recess for Restless Minds.’  With this one, we’re close to scratching ‘recess’ and inserting ‘riot.’”

As mentioned before, the lineup will include burlesque dancers and GOUGE professional wrestling; musical entertainment will be provided by Hank Sinatra, The Irish Wolfhounds, Puritan Rodeo and a reunited The Floating Children.

The Footnotes Tap Ensemble will also perform, and there will be a presentation of work from urban artist Sean Kernick.
