While we knew three weeks ago that famed producer and The dB’s guitarist Chris Stamey would perform a set at the annual Christmas at the Cradle extravaganza, we didn’t know that Stamey would bring along some old friends.
“Initially, we were lucky enough to snag dB’s member and super-producer Chris Stamey for the show, but he was kind enough to assemble more dB’s for the occasion,” event host Trekky Records said in a release.
The dB’s join a stellar lineup that includes The Old Ceremony, Filthybird, Phil Cook & His Feet, Cassis Orange, The Tender Fruit, Yardwork, In the Year of the Pig and of course The Trekky Yuletide Orchestra.
Like in years past, proceeds from the Dec. 16 concert at Cat’s Cradle will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Tickets are available for $8 in advance or $10 the day of the show.
