Behind the release of their sophomore full-length, Merge Records recording artists Telekinesis will hit the road for a 25-date tour that is set to bring the band through the Triangle in March.

The tour is scheduled to kick-off Feb. 18 in Washington and wrap-up March 27 in Vancouver. Before visiting our neighbors to the north, Telekinesis will perform at Local 506 in Chapel Hill on March 13; ticket and supporting act information is not yet available.

12 Desperate Straight Lines, the second full-length release from Telekinesis, will drop Feb. 15 on CD, LP and digital download. The 12-track album is the product of recording sessions in Portland with Chris Walla at Jackpot! Recording Studio.

Walla and Telekinesis mastermind Michael Benjamin Lerner recorded to tape, and as Merge Records explains “went a little crazy with impromptu dance parties and recording drum parts backwards.”
