Following his move to Chapel Hill, Tokyo Rosenthal found himself immersed in an area rich with musical talent and an abundant selection of professionals who could help him build on his already long history performing Americana music.

Joining Toke on his latest album, Ghosts, are Al Perkins on pedal steel guitar, Chris Stamey on bass, Peter Holsapple on accordion, Bobby Britt on fiddle, Jim Steinberg on banjo, Tim Rae on drums and Lisa Lacheau on flute. It was released Jan. 18, 2010 and jointly produced by Rosenthal and Stamey.
“It was great to be back in the studio, especially with some of the great people I got to work with again and for the first time,” Rosenthal said. “Now I look forward to touring and playing my new material all around the world.”
After gigging around the Triangle through April 10, Toke will head up to New York and eventually make his way to Europe where his music has found a cult-like following.
Ghosts debuted at number five on the Euro Americana Chart.
