This year’s Have a Holly Raleigh Christmas benefit compilation is receiving a slight alteration as the focus of the album turns to “children’s” music.
Re-branded as Have a Holly Raleigh KIDSmas, the compilation still features an amazing line up of Triangle-area musicians, but the artists have focused their attention on creating children’s Christmas songs.
The album spans 12 tracks with contributions from The Beast, The Proclivities, The Rosebuds, Mommie, A Rooster for the Masses and many more.
As always, Sir Walter Records is planning album release parties to celebrate the compilation’s release. The first will be Nov. 19 at Tir Na Nog — which looks to be part of Local Beer Local Band — and the second show is Nov. 21 at Marbles Kids Museum after the Raleigh Christmas Parade.
Sales from the album benefit the Community Music School.
