They may not performing, but you can come close to a live experience with Bombadil’s sessions the band recorded for Daytrotter.
The band recorded three tracks from their recently released — and fabulous — new album, Tarpits and Canyonlands, including “Kate and Kelsey,” “Oto the Bear” and “So Many Ways To Die” as well as “Cavaliers” from Bombadil’s debut record, A Buzz, A Buzz.
Notably, “So Many Ways To Die” is significantly different from the album version, considering the studio cut features former bandmate Stuart Robinson on lead vocals.
“The version on the record is very different, most of all because Stuart sings the lead part,” the band told Daytrotter. “We liked the song so much, that when Stuart decided to stop traveling with us, we made a version that Bryan, Daniel and I could perform live.”
