The organizers of the second annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert at Koka Booth announced that the event will be postponed until spring 2010.
Originally, the benefit was scheduled for Sept. 6 at the Cary amphitheatre and was to feature performances from Darryl McDaniels (better known as D.M.C.), Patty Smyth and Scandal, 94 East, Blessid Union of Souls, Nine Days, The Freddy Jones Band, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Georgia Satellites and White Sox All-Star Band.
Those who purchased tickets can seek a refund at the point of purchase.Tickets purchased over the phone or through Ticketmaster will be refunded automatically.
The organizers say that tickets purchased for the Sept. 6 performance will not be honored on the rescheduled date and tickets for the show will go on sale later this fall. A rescheduled date is expected to be announced soon.
