The video features a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Flesh and Blood” by Annuals, as well as some sweet shots of a shirtless Raymond Finn and mustachioed Brian Corum. Annuals recorded the track for the compilation, but due to legal reasons, it will not be included on Hear Here.
Hear Here will be released on Aug. 29, and a release party is planned for the same day at Cat’s Cradle with Annuals, The Never, Birds of Avalon and Hammer No More the Fingers. The comp will feature tracks from The Love Language, Birds of Avalon, The Kingsbury Manx, The Old Ceremony, Sunfold, Lonnie Walker, The Never, Blount Harvey, Kooley High, The Beast, Colossus, Hammer No More the Fingers, Inflowential, Americans in France, The Static Minds and Motor Skills.
Admission to the show is $10 and includes of copy of the album. Proceeds from the sales will benefit The Visual Art Exchange — Raleigh’s oldest private non-profit visual arts organization.
