The “Smooth” one, Rob Thomas, will perform at Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheatre on Sept. 28 with OneRepublic and Carolina Liar.
Tickets for the show go on sale July 17 at 10 a.m. for $36 in advance or $46 the day of the show. Reserved and table seating will be available for $66.
Thomas is touring in support of his recently released sophomore solo album, Cradlesong. He is best known as the frontman for Matchbox 20, which has released an album since 2007’s Exile on Mainstreet.
OneRepublic is currently riding the success of its single “Apologize,” which is the most legally downloaded song in U.S. digital history. While folks will know Carolina Liar for the single “Show Me What I’m Looking For” from the band’s 2008 album Coming to Terms.
