Schooner Releases New Music, Ready For New EP

With plans for a new EP in the fall, Schooner has unleashed a new track to tide over fans.

“Feel Better” made its debut through WRAL’s “Hear it from Hutch” music feature. The band recorded the track with Jerry Kee (Superchunk, Polvo, The Kingsbury Manx) at Duck Kee Studio in Mebane.

Frontman Reid Johnson says fans can look forward to a tour behind the EP once it’s released. Until then, you can catch Schooner on July 11 at Raleigh Downtown Live, The Pinhook in Durham on July 31and Cat’s Cradle on Sept. 12.
