Like last year’s inaugural Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert at Koka Booth, this year’s festival will be highlighted with a performance from the White Sox All-Star Band.

This year’s lineup includes musicians from Queen, Yes and Journey. The list is as follows:

Yes and Plastic Ono Band drummer Alan White
Queen keyboardist and vocalist Spike Edney
Queen and Mike and the Mechanics guitarist and backing vocalist Jamie Moses
Former Journey lead singer and current Trans-Siberian Orchestra vocalist Jeff Scott Soto
Jimi Hendrix emulator Randy Hansen
Electric rock violinist Geoffrey Castle
Bass guitarist and White Sox co-founder Bernt Bodal

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Concert will be held at the Cary amphitheatre on Sept. 6. Tickets went on sale May 16 through all Ticketmaster outlets and the Booth Amphitheatre box office for $35 to $100.

This year’s concert benefits the Rock Hall’s music education outreach efforts as well as the Cary Community Foundation.
