Jason Michael Carroll has come a long way from his humble beginnings playing at Longbranch here in Raleigh. Not only has he scored three top 20 Billboard Hot Country singles, Jason was also recently asked to sing the national anthem at a Chicago Cubs game on May 26.

Jason was a featured artist for “Country Music Night” at Wrigley Field when the Cubs took on the Pittsburgh Pirates. In addition to performing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” Jason threw the first pitch of the game and led the crowd in “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”

His sophomore album, Growing Up Is Getting Old, reached number 28 on the Billboard Top 200 charts and number 7 on the Top Country Albums charts.

Just after the album’s release, Jason stopped by for a performance on Sessions at Studio B; you can catch that performance on the video’s landing page.
