After their show June 9 at Rock N Roll Hotel in Washington, D.C., the Dex Romweber Duo’s van was broken into while the band was in College Park, Maryland.

A message from the band pleads for help in recovering the stolen items, and promises that they “will make it worth your while.”

“This is a band that’s been on the road for eleven weeks, and any profits made from this tour have now been obliterated,” the band writes. “It is a loss that will not be easily absorbed, so we’re asking for your help in the small chance the items can be recovered.”

Stolen from the van was a Silvertone Danelectro guitar, a cymbal bag containing all of Sara Romweber’s cymbals, an iPod and a GPS navigation system.

The band suspects that the break-in occurred some time early in the morning on June 10. Anyone with information about the break-in is encouraged to contact Jenny “JP” Pfafflin with Bloodshot Records.
