The Love Language Premieres Three New Demos

In an interview published yesterday over at New Raleigh, The Love Language frontman Stuart McLamb says the band is “about to start recording the second record pretty soon and it will be a joint effort between the entire band.”

It looks like by “about to start,” McLamb meant to say “already.”

The band unleashed three new songs in demo form on its MySpace page today. Included is yet another recorded version of “Blue Angel,” a song called “Britney’s Back” and “This Blood Is Our Own.” The Love Language recently stopped by and recorded a few more songs for Daytrotter, this time tracking “The Blood Is Our Own” — so look for that session in the coming months.

I’m only leaving them up ’til Saturday but I knew some of y’all have been wanting to hear some new stuff for a while,” McLamb sent out through a MySpace bulletin. “I hope I don’t get in big trouble for this.”

You can catch The Love Language this Saturday at The Pour House along with Whatever Brains and our friends Gross Ghost. The band will also perform at Cat’s Cradle on May 23 with The Old Ceremony.

UPDATE:
Well that didn’t take long, the three new tracks are already down. I hope you were among the few who got a chance to check them out before the mass exodus.
