Gross Ghost Giving Away Debut LP

If you frequent the Triangle music scene, you’ve probably brushed shoulders with Mike Dillon. And if you caught The Love Language this past weekend at The Pour House, you more than likely saw his latest musical venture — Gross Ghost.

Gross Ghost is quickly becoming the next area buzz band with its dense textures created through found objects and improvisation.

With less than a year under its belt, Gross Ghost has debuted its first full length. And you can acquire the album through a couple of different outlets. For the iPod gen, Dillon’s made Miggaz available as a free Torrent download — so you know the routine, keep the seed alive so more folks can cop the LP.

Also, if you are more of the analog type, you can contact the band or its label, Random Tapes, for the full album on tape with “cool layouts and extras.” You can probably contact the band by shooting Dillon a message through the Gross Ghost MySpace page.

If you missed the band this weekend, you can catch them at Local 506 in Chapel Hill on May 24 with Baltimore-based Ponytail.
