Oh oh ohohoh oh oh ohoh, oh oh ohohoh NO!
I was personally looking forward to checking out the Jabbawockeez, but unfortunately that doesn’t look like it will happen any time soon.
Live Nation has announced that “due to unforeseen production delays, the summer New Kids On The Block tour has made necessary changes to the tour dates and venues.” In short, the group has canceled its planned stops in the Carolinas — including the June 3 performance at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh.
Tickets purchased online or via the phone will be refunded automatically starting Tuesday, May 12. Tickets purchased at the venue box offices or at retail Live Nation locations can be refunded at the point of purchase starting Wednesday, May 13.
Also canceled were NKOTB’s performances in Charlotte; Birmingham, Alabama; Tampa, Florida and West Palm Beach, Florida. The group’s May 28 performance in Atlanta has now been moved to June 4 and a stop has been added for Washington, D.C. on June 7.
Hey Jabbawockeez, you guys don’t need NKOTB to come to Raleigh. Hit us up before the tour kicks off.
