Bowerbirds Unveils ‘Northern Lights,’ Tour Info

The release of Bowerbirds’ new LP is coming up quickly, and in support of the album, the band has released a new song and plans to hit the road for an extensive tour later in May.

Upper Air, the band’s sophomore release, is set to be released July 7 through Dead Oceans. The album will feature the single “Northern Lights,” which the label unveiled today and describes as “an absolutely breathtaking track, showcasing Phil Moore’s golden voice and timeless songwriting abilities.”

Bowerbirds also plans to hit the road with some international dates beginning May 22; and when the band returns stateside in July, expect fellow Triangle band Megafaun to support them on the tour.
