Under the headline “& A Big ANNOUNCEMENT” in the latest Cat’s Cradle e-newsletter, the venue revealed that individual tickets for XX Merge performances will go on sale May 13 at 10 a.m.

While the five-day passes sold out in 30 minutes, tickets for individual nights of the festival will be sold through eTix, the Merge Records Web site and through Cat’s Cradle. Tickets for the Memorial Hall show on July 26 featuring She & Him, American Music Club and Wye Oak will be available at Cat’s Cradle, CD Alley in Chapel Hill, Schoolkids Records and the Memorial Hall box office.

The label says it will not reveal the lineup for individual performances at Cat’s Cradle, but you can check out a mostly complete list of bands at the festival’s Web site.

XX Merge is a five-day festival celebrating the 20th anniversary of Durham-based Merge Records. The festival will be held July 22 through 26.
