Sure you may know Hill’s music as being backed by a deejay — usually WKNC’s DJ Resident — but Hill’s reinterpreted his music with the help of some friends and is hitting the road with a whole new production in tote.
Hill’s first release was 2004’s 12″ single “Da Instigator” followed a digital EP, Memoirs of a Premature Legend, and a handful of mixtapes. But now he’s working on a full length LP and is actively looking for the right label to distribute his hard work.
K-Hill will perform with a deejay rather than his live band at MarVell Event Center in Durham on April 22 for an Earth Day celebration with Diablo Archer, Heather Victoria, Dasan Ahanu, Rushmoore and Elion The Great.
You can check out photos from this performance and others at the Music.MyNC Facebook Fan page. And while you’re there, become a fan and get the latest updates on upcoming Studio B performances.
