Before we had the opportunity to see a single release from Chapel Hill’s I Was Totally Destroying It through up-start indie label Neckbeard Records, the band and label have parted ways.

A press release from the label cites “irreconcilable differences” as the band and label terminated their relationship effective April 17.

As such, Neckbeard Records will not release IWTDI’s double EP, The Beached Margin/Done Waiting. The album was set to be released along side Lemming Malloy’s new LP, The Return of the Norfolk Regiment, on May 22.

Neckbeard Records is still set to release Lemming Malloy’s album with a release show at Local 506. The concert will feature performances from Gray Young, Lemming Malloy and an as-of-yet-unannounced third act.
