Los Angeles punk rock legends X will return to the Triangle for the second year in a row on June 9 with a performance at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro. The band last performed in the area on May 27, 2008, also at Cat’s Cradle.

Dubbed X-TRL, the up-coming tour will feature the original lineup and have the band performing songs voted on by the fans. It will also feature Steve Soto and the Twisted Hearts as the opening act. X-TRL will kickoff April 9 at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, Ore.

In Spring 2008, X began its 13X31 Tour to celebrate the band’s 31st anniversary.

Ticket information for the Cat’s Cradle performance has not been revealed.
