Chapel Hill/Nashville-based Americana band Roman Candle will release its second in a series of EPs today (March 9). The band released its first EP, Eden Was a Garden, on Dec. 2 in a pay-what-you-want format. The new EP, They Say, will be offered as a free download.

They Say features the song “They Say” from Oh Tall Tree In The Ear and three unreleased tracks: “One Hundred Thousand Miles,” “Everybody Hates A Goodbye” and “One More Song.”

The band’s highly anticipated follow-up to 2006’s The Wee Hours Revue is due in stores May 12 through Carnival Music. The art for the album is a painting by Swedish artist Camilla Engman entitled “Morran in the Woods.”
