It seems like Cat’s Cradle has really scored some awesome acts this week … Wale on April 16, Kid Koala on April 18, Meat Puppets on June 14, Camera Obscura on June 20. Now comes word that indie sweetheart Jenny Lewis will bring her solo act to the Cradle on June 12.

Opening the show will be Brooklyn-based indie rockers Deer Tick. Tickets for the performance go on sale April 3 for $18.

Lewis, who is perhaps best known as the frontwoman for the group Rilo Kiley, released her first proper solo album on Sept. 23, 2008. Preceding Acid Tongue, Lewis released an album with The Watson Twins entitled Rabbit Fur Coat in 2006. The two albums sandwich Rilo Kiley’s fourth full-length album, Under the Blacklight.
