Elvis — Costello, That Is — To Perform In Cary

It’s confirmed: Elvis Costello and The Sugarcanes are coming to the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. Costello is booked for Sunday, June 14, with tickets going on sale on March 27.

Ticket prices are $39.50 for lawn and $59.50 for reserved seating.

The T Bone Burnett produced Secret, Profane & Sugarcane will be released June 2 through Starbuck’s Hear Music. The album features contributions from Jerry Douglas (dobro), Stuart Duncan (fiddle), Mike Compton (mandolin), Jeff Taylor (accordion), Dennis Crouch (double bass), Jim Lauderdale (vocal harmonies) and Emmylou Harris.

    completely unrelated to the concert,but i ran into elvis himself today at the vancouver aquarium in british columbia,canada.we had a brief meeting in a public courtyard that happened to be very empty at the time.he was polite,gracious,and appeared grateful that i didn’t draw a bunch of additional unwanted attention to him. a real gentleman!
