Update On The National Debacle: Lincoln Theatre

It looks like 4AD has changed its Web site to indicate that The National will perform at Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh on May 28.

Yesterday it was reported that Lincoln Theatre would be the host venue, however a blurb on the 4AD Web site referenced Meymandi Concert Hall to be the venue while Meymandi’s Web site and Ticketmaster confirmed.

Now that 4AD, Cat’s Cradle, Lincoln Theatre, The National and etix are all on board for the band coming to Lincoln in May, it should be safe to assume that this is the final location for what will certainly be an amazing show. If Ticketmaster and Meymandi get their stories straight, then all doubts will be relieved.

In either case, tickets for the performance go on sale Friday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. for $22 in advance and $25 the day of the show.
