The full, ridiculously large lineup of South by Southwest musicians has been announced; and like previous years, there is a nice showing of Triangle-area artists.

If you’re planning on making the trek to Austin and would like to catch up with some of the locals, check out the list below the jump of who’s performing, when and where. It looks like Wednesday will be the hottest day for Triangle artists with Carolina Chocolate Drops, Annuals, Lonnie Walker, Patty Hurst Shifter, Valient Thorr, Black Skies, among others performing, so prepare to spread yourself thin and choose your shows wisely.

You can still check out Annuals and Dexter Romweber Duo‘s performances on Sessions at Studio B on the videos’ landing pages. In 2008, Chapel Hill’s The Old Ceremony made the trip to SXSW as well as expat David Karsten Daniels.

According to Roman Candle’s MySpace page, the Chapel Hill quintet will perform three dates in Austin during the festival, however it has not been confirmed whether the dates are associated with SXSW.

Other North Carolina musicians scheduled to perform this year are Wilmington-based He Is Legend at Spiro’s Amphitheater and Asheville’s Ear Pwr at Volume on Thursday, March 19; Winston-Salem’s Brother Reade at Back Alley Social on Friday, March 20; and Asheville-based Reigning Sound at Red 7 and Floating Action from Black Mountain at Room 710 on Saturday, March 21.

Atlanta-based Howlies — who performed on B-Sides (smoke machine and all) on Feb. 2 — will hit SXSW on Friday, March 20 at Pangaea.
