It’s certainly apparent that country music concerts are huge money makers in the Triangle as the RBC Center becomes the latest venue to add a country superstar to its summer schedule.

Keith Urban’s “Escape Together World Tour” brings the Grammy Award winning New Zealand native to the indoor arena on June 19 along with Sugarland.

“Sugarland and I are going to give our fans in Charlotte and Raleigh nights to remember,” Urban said in a press release. “A night where they’ll be able to leave their cares at the door and just let loose for a few hours.”

Urban — also known as Mr. Nicole Kidman — will release his fifth American album, Defying Gravity, on March 31. The album features the hit single “Sweet Thing.”

Tickets go on sale Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. through Live Nation, the venue box office, Ticketmaster and by phone.
