Bu_Hanan Records co-founder David Karsten Daniels performed on Sessions at Studio B live from NBC17 studios in Raleigh Jan. 23, 2009. David Crawford of Birmingham-based Art Wilson joined Daniels on drums.
The pair performed “Martha Ann,” “That Knot Unties?” and “Wheelchairs” from Daniels’s fifth album Fear of Flying and “American Pastime” from 2007’s Sharp Teeth.
In addition to releasing the acclaimed Sharp Teeth with Fat Cat Records, Daniels released The Mayflower in 2000, Out From Under Ligne 4 in 2001 and Angles in 2004.
Before releasing Fear of Flying on April 29, 2008, Daniels married the subject of 2004’s Angles and relocated to the West coast. He now resides in Oregon.

WOW! David Karsten Daniels and other David on drums have an uplifting/ jazz/ rock type music that is heartfelt in my ears. Thanks for sharing to Jake Seaton whom I’ve known sice kindergarten in Manteo, North Carolina. This type of music is not something I would listen to all day but I’m sure I could jam out to this all day-anytime of the day!
