Caitlin Cary will perform at Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh on March 6 with singer-songwriter Thad Cockrell. Tickets for the show are $8 and the doors are set to open at 8 p.m.
Cary is a former member — along with Ryan Adams — of Whiskeytown, a fiddler for the alt-country supergroup Tres Chicas and collaborated with Cockrell on the 2005 album Begonias. She also contributed backing vocals and violin to Alejandro Escovedo’s 2001 album A Man Under The Influence — which was produced by The dB’s guitarist Chris Stamey, engineered by Mitch Easter, and featured harmony and backing vocals from Ryan Adams.
On Jan. 10, Cary sang “America the Beautiful” at the governor’s inauguration. The night before, Tres Chicas performed at the Inaugural Ball along with Chatham County Line.
You can hear Cary’s rendition of “America the Beautiful” below.
