Brooks Wood and Danny Shampine of the Brooks Wood Band gave a special acoustic performance in Studio B on Thursday afternoon at NBC 17 for Sessions at Studio B.
The band will perform its final concert on Saturday, Dec. 13, at The Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh. Check back tonight to watch the full performance here.
Brooks Wood Band will release its last album, adequately titled Good Timing, in early 2009. “There will obviously be no CD-release show, but we hope you decide to get your copy anyway and pop it in from time to time to remember us and the music we created together,” Wood wrote in a note to his fans.
