Merge Records artist Radar Bros. will be making its way to the East Coast with a handful of shows, including a performance at Local 506 in Chapel Hill on Dec. 6.

The Radar Bros. released its fifth album, Auditorium, on Jan. 29, 2008 through the Durham-based record label. The album was recorded in multi-instrumentalist Jim Putnam’s Phase IV Intergalactic Recording studio in Los Angeles.

Due to its West Coast home, the band rarely finds itself Atlantic-bound, so these shows will be a treat for its East Coast fan base.

The Radar Bros. was founded in 1994 by Putnam, the son Universal Audio founder Bill Putnam.
