Recorded in 1998, Durham’s Greg Humphreys of HOBEX and Dillon Fence fame, and the Squirrel Nut Zippers’ Jimbo Mathus gave an unplugged treatment to HOBEX’s “Stop Starting Over” from the 2003 album Wisteria.
The performance was in the kitchen of Z-TV studios in Chapel Hill and aired on The Peoples Channel’s Z-TV program on June 28, 1998.
Humphreys released his solo album, Trunk Songs, earlier in 2008. The album features backing from Big Fat Gap and Gibb Droll.
